The mission of the VK Youth Arts Organization is to enrich the lives of youths by providing opportunities for artistic expression and youth development through music, marching, dance, and entertainment.  Our vision is to connect youth with their culture through music and the performing arts—a language that crosses generations as well as social, economic, and racial barriers.

The experience that comes with participation in a performing arts organization builds character and self-confidence at a crucial age and forms the springboard to even greater achievements throughout adulthood.  The VK Youth Arts Organization experience, in particular, helps instill a sense of pride and the important values of dedication, discipline, commitment, and achievement through teamwork which is then carried back into the community.   Young people discover that dedication and hard work enable them to achieve success—success, which in turn, promotes confidence in other facets of their lives.

The VK Youth Arts Organizations performing arts programs permanently embillish the lives of young people through a commitment to youth development and performance excellence while providing enjoyment to our local community and audiences worldwide.  Although headquartered in Pasadena, CA, participants from all over the country attend workshops, music camps, hands-on training, auditions, performances, and competitions throughout the year.

Our goal throughout the coming years, is to keep educating and cultivate the lives of our members , through our programs, helping them develop into responsible and respected adults. We will be seeking many different ways to help sponsor our members, and help keep our operation alive by developing long lasting relationships with corporations and groups, who are willing to support our programs.
