Lates

Wow, we certainly have come a long way since we first took the field back in 2007.

Semi finalist placings in 2007 and 2008 was amazing, but 2009 really made it all worth while. VK placed 9th at the 2009 DCI World Championships, in Indianapolis, IN. Being and participating in retreat was a special moment for all of us, especially the members. Lots of good memories there.

So where do we go from here? FORWARD to another exciting "magical" tour and season.

We've made some great changes. Dave Carico and Eric Kitchenman are returning this year as our brass arranger / caption head, and Eric designing our drill. We so please to have them back!! Joining Dave will be Rudy Arevalos, and returning tech is Roger Garcia.

More exciting news is that Tom and Catherine Float are writing, teaching with us!!! Yes, like others are saying "the Floats" are indeed back!! Joining the percussion staff is Jose Iraheta and Carlos Sanchez, somewhat returning staff....lol, Jose from 2007 and Carlos will be back for his fourth year. Jen Swanek, is also returning as the fantastic cymbal tech she is. Tony Villasenor will also be assisting Catherine with the front ensemble.

Greg Flores is joining us as our Program/Staff Coordinator, and what a challenge he has ahead of him.

John Murray is returning on his fourth year, as our Visual caption head, along with Tim Sapien, Bob Swanek, and Rafael Arenas Jr., who will be assisting with the hornline as well.

As you can see, our plans are set, and we are ready to once again have a "Magical Mystery Season"
